PRESS RELEASE – BORDEAUX, JANUARY 7, 2021

BORDEAUX-BASED COMPANY INVINO EVENT CONNECTS COMPANIES TO ITS VIRTUAL TASTING WORKSHOPS

Invino Event, an expert in wine events for companies for many years, has taken the digital turn in order to meet the new needs of its clients in the context of the health crisis. In May 2020, as a result of a reflection during the confinement, the Virtual Tasting Workshop was born. Since then, the demand from companies for this new 100% digitalized format has been growing.

THE VIRTUAL EVENT, AN OBVIOUS ALTERNATIVE TO KEEP THE LINK

Aware that the Covid-19 has changed the game and upset their habits in terms of events, more and more companies are tempted by a virtual team-building.

“At first, some clients were confused and then hoped for a quick return to normalcy, so they simply put aside their event activity. But the months have passed and more and more of them are asking for our help to transpose their corporate events into the virtual world”, says Khadija Ben Ammar, Invino Event manager.

Today, digital is an obvious choice for many business leaders and HR managers who want to maintain a link within their teams. Better a virtual team-building to strengthen cohesion, rather than no team-building at all”, says Khadija Ben Ammar. Since last March, the share of digital in the turnover of Invino Event is 94%. Over the months, the company has gathered several hundred participants in its Virtual Tasting Workshops.

SHIFTING THE LINES OF EVENT MANAGEMENT TO SURVIVE AND BOUNCE BACK

If virtual events seem trendy today, it was a daring idea last spring. Invino Event’s teams, with their experience in oenoludic animation, knew how to move the lines at the right time. Over the last six months, they have led several dozen workshops, bringing together clients, employees and management committees, all in search of conviviality and cohesion.

“I’m lucky to have a close-knit, organized and imaginative team,” explains Khadija Ben Ammar. “This is what has allowed us to offer high quality services, sometimes in different languages, sometimes in the four corners of the world. The crisis has shaken the events sector but the state of mind of the company remains very positive!” Faced with health measures, Invino Event was among the first to propose a virtual alternative which, not only (re)creates links, but also offers interesting economic and ecological perspectives.

The company has also just unveiled its new virtual animation: the “InVin’Escape Online“.
