With the wine fairs in full swing and questions about the future of the event industry coming from all sides, we thought it was the right time to offer you a little FAQ made in Invino Event!
Leaders and managers need more than ever to know that their teams are united and invested. With Covid-19, some have postponed – sometimes several times – the company events and teambuilding activities that they have always been used to organizing. Now they can’t wait: events are vital for cohesion, whether it’s onboarding for newcomers or thanking employees who have faced this unprecedented year with poise and brilliance. Nowadays, everyone wants to feel good in their company (IFOP study for Wittifyt).
Of course it does. Just look at the management committees in companies: they need to meet in small groups, to exchange ideas through convivial moments in order to make the right decisions later. And for a company needing to gather its 100 employees for its traditional annual event, it is possible to adapt the formula: 10 gatherings of 10 people, in person or virtually. Our latest services in small groups have even worked for groups of 5-6 people.
In addition to the instructions given by the government, the actors of the event industry or the places hosting our events, we have developed a health protocol that does not take any risks: from the electronic signature of contracts to the wearing of masks and the systematic disinfection of the equipment used during the events, we are ready!
Whether we are in person, spaced out from each other, or on a virtual event, it is our content that allows exchanges and conviviality. The changes induced by Covid-19 (such as gathering fewer people around the same game or tasting table) do not affect the core of our animation. This is confirmed by the strong development of our digital offer, the Virtual Tasting Workshop: as our latest participants testify, the individual remains the actor of the animation, which allows everyone to build relationships. Remote teambuilding works!
With the virtual, it is possible to imagine several sessions simultaneously. Thanks to Invino Event’s team of 12 animators, each participant can live the same oenological and fun experience from a distance. It is even possible to organize the animations in several languages according to the needs of the company. In person, you can also imagine several in-situ sessions in different cities. One of the last projects we worked on involved 1500 employees divided into groups of 500 in three different cities, including an event in Bordeaux. Each group can then live the same experience simultaneously in person, even though they are hundreds of kilometers apart.
Digital or not, Invino Event offers premium experiences. According to the feedback from our clients who have opted for the Virtual Tasting Workshop, one could almost forget the screen. Of course, everyone would like to return to the classroom quickly, as before, but the virtual is a great alternative if it is well done. Conviviality is quickly established!
Wine (in moderation) is a universal subject. It implies sharing, conviviality. Precisely what is missing in companies today. So a thousand times yes! The animations around the discovery of wine, especially when they have a playful side, are always in vogue.
Spontaneously, we would like to highlight some of our partners, who have moved heaven and earth to meet the new health requirements: Autre Ambiance, for modular and cosy meetings, the Château Gassies for a unique change of scenery in Lastresne, theMercure Château Chartrons Hotel for a seminar in the center of Bordeaux, and so on… Of course, Invino Event’s teams can also travel within the company if it is more reassuring for the participants
It’s up to each company manager to decide, depending on the state of mind of their workforce. We believe that virtual events will be the preferred option for the end of the year, but many companies are still thinking of organizing a face-to-face event: in small groups and in compliance with sanitary measures, this is perfectly feasible. Why not take a hybrid formula, allowing some to be present while others attend remotely? Everything is possible. The idea to remember is that everyone should have a good time. Serenity above all!
