CORPORATE EVENTS : WINE AS A VECTOR OF COHESION

This year, we celebrate the 15th anniversary of Invino Event! That’s why this month we’ve chosen to talk to you about our events and the heart we put into them. Fifteen years – already – that they want to be human, playful, interactive. What better way to do this than to give the floor to one of our animators: Oliver, founder of Invino Event.

Self-taught, he loves to learn on the field or through his reading. A state of mind that has greatly contributed to making the company what it is today: attentive and dynamic.

The human being at the heart of the animation

“At Invino Event, we have always placed the customer at the center of the animation. This is essential in order not to lose sight of our main objective: to strengthen the cohesion of a group. Whether they are company directors, managers, employees, customers or suppliers, the human beings we meet are all different and make each animation unique and exciting. For the past fifteen years, I have enjoyed hosting all these events!

As in many countries, wine is a product closely linked to culture in France. Wine and gastronomy are, by definition, moments of sharing, pleasure, discovery, exchange… This is what we try to reproduce in each animation, by making it as fun as possible.

An audience that interacts is an audience that is won over

“In animation, my approach is always to be very active – what good is it to have a passive audience in front of you that lets itself be guided? When you succeed in integrating the participants into an animation through exchanges, questions and laughter, you have already taken a huge step towards the objective sought by the client company: group adhesion and cohesion.
Our communication is a story and stories. The first is about wine and our expertise: concrete information about the product, its grape varieties, its conception. The stories, on the other hand, are of the order of anecdotes that the client enjoys discovering: Napoleon’s favorite wine, or Henri IV’s baptism with Jurançon wine and his clove of garlic (did you know that?). And when people laugh together, they start to trust each other: a barrier falls.”

An event to remember

“Whether it’s a team-building event for your sales force or a party for your best customers, you want one thing: to have an experience and make a lasting impression. The moment must be remembered! My role is to “break the ice”, especially when the participants do not know each other. Our wine animations help to warm up the atmosphere intelligently: we taste, tongues are loosened, we go from discovery to discovery, the pleasure is there.

I like very much our animation “Les Maîtres du Chai”, developed by Invino Event. The concept is original: it is about creating a wine blend in team, designing its label and imagining the whole marketing/sales approach around it. And this time, it is the participants who elaborate their own stories. I only feed the joyful dynamic. The final part of this event, with the blind tasting of the wines created by the teams, reflects the involvement of everyone: “full steam ahead! There is always a creativity that comes out, and personalities that open up, reveal themselves, to the great astonishment of the leaders and managers.

For us, corporate events are first and foremost a game: a moment where we have fun and which we will remember. And yet, the results in terms of team cohesion are very serious.
